While Christian mothers are most often meeting the need for discipleship and faith formation of their children, Barna data reveals they are notably underserved by the Church. Currently, just under three in 10 Christian moms (28%) say their church provides them with materials specifically designed to support them as moms at least monthly.
Moms, we’re here for you!
The Learn It-Live It: Lessons for Moms ministry came from the imagination of Anne F. Rauth, a writer, marketing guru, wife, and experienced mom. Anne found ways to be creative in teaching her children the truths of Scripture. She invited her friend and fellow author, Caroline S. Cooper, to join her. Caroline is a wife, mom, and grandma of five as well as a speaker and podcast/Youtube host. Her ministry name is In God’s Corner. She enjoys studying the historical and cultural context of Scripture.
Caroline leads the “Learn It” Bible lesson which gives moms, and those who serve as “moms,” a chance to dig a little deeper in a short amount of time. We know how busy life can be with even one child! Anne then presents hands-on, fun activities in the “Live It” segment. This is where the principles in the Bible lesson come to life even many thousands of years after the authors wrote the inspired words of God. The Bible is truly a remarkable, living book.
